Alli was getting ready for the new years eve party that her and Owen had agreed on throwing. Everyone was there and Alli was happy about that. She was in the kitchen getting something out of the oven, when she felt strong arms wrap around her tiny, but soon to be growing, waist. She looked up and smiled “Hey” She said softly kissing him.
Owen smirked and nodded once, before leaning forward and hitting the cue ball. He watched as it hit the side of the table and rebounded, knocking a solid and striped into the same pocket. He looked up at her and bit his lip. “I really missed you, Alli. And to be honest.. I don’t know how I’m gonna leave you again,” he admitted.
Alli looked at him shaking her head “I don’t know how I’m going to let you leave again” She told him softly as she walked over to him and leaned up and kissed him again. God had she really missed him so much that the touch of his lips just drove her crazy now. She pulled away from him and softly said “I won’t want you to go” She said softly shaking her head slightly looking at him. “Its going to be hard for both of us”
Owen nodded and kissed her again, letting the kiss linger for a moment before slightly deepening it. He pulled away from her and smiled a bit before leaning down and giving her a gentle peck on the lips. “We’ll get through it. I know we can, babe. And our relationship will just grow stronger as each day passes because when we finally get to see each other again, we’ll have nights just like this.. and it’ll be perfect,” he said.
Alli looked up at him “We will. I know we will” She said softly, but thought yeah you are going to be miles away from me and I’m going to be here and pregnant. That will be much easier on one of us She smiled at him “Every night, day, hour, minute, second… They are all perfect with you in them”
Owen smiled at her and nodded. “How did I get so lucky with you? I mean.. a year ago today.. I would never see myself in love.. married.. on leave from basic, but then I found you again and my life just kinda.. sped by. But these months with you, Alli.. they’ve been the happiest months of my life,” he told her honestly. Sure they had some bad moments in their relationship, but they got through it all.
Alli looked at him “And you wouldn’t have tried to go back to school because of me” She said softly looking at him. She really thought their relationship was in the toilet after she drunkinly cheating on him with his best friend. But whatever it took, they made it through this. She looked at him “I love you, Owen.” She whispered, and reminded him.

Owen looked down as he thought about how this would be his first Christmas without his parents. He didn’t respond when she mentioned it, he just continued to listen to her as he missed the green solid he aimed for, silently cursing under his breath. “Well, Christmas Eve.. we could go to my aunt and uncle’s with Tristan… I know they wanted to see me. And we can spend Christmas morning with your family.. and come back here for dinner and just.. be together. But I don’t wanna shelter myself from everyone while I’m here you know? I need to get out and… interact with people who won’t scream orders at me,” he chuckled the last bit and looked at her.
Alli looked at him with a smile “We can do that” She said nodding at him. “It would be nice to see my brother in law again” She smirked at him as she hit the green stripe into one of the pockets before looking at him. “You aren’t going to baby” Alli said softly “I won’t let you. Even if i may tell you orders” She joked a little bit rolling her eyes at him before kissing him softly.
Owen chuckled and smiled into the kiss, slightly pulling away and then kissing her again quickly. “I won’t mind orders from you, babe. As long as they’re along the lines of, ‘go faster, don’t stop, harder,’ or any other thing you might order me to do in bed,” he said and smirked teasingly, throwing in a playful wink as he leaned against the table, waiting for her to go again.
Alli giggled softly. She really wanted to just blurt out “I’m pregnant” but she couldn’t. She wanted it to be perfect when she told him. She looked up at him nodding “As long as you give me some order right back” She said as she took another hit, not hitting anything letting him go again.
Owen looked down as he thought about how this would be his first Christmas without his parents. Alli rolled her eyes looking at him as she grabbed the pool stick “No you can go first” She smirked as she grabbed the chalk and put it on the tip of it again as she watched him as she leaned on the table.
Owen chalked the tip of the pool stick before leaning over the table and knocking the cue ball. He watched as it broke the triangle, pushing a solid red into the top left corner pocket. “So what are plans for Christmas?” Owen asked as he took another turn, but missing the yellow solid he aimed at.
Alli looked at him as she walked around the table to the white cue ball aiming for the purple striped ball and hitting it, getting one of the solids into a pocket though “shit” she said under her breath looking up at him “Well my parents would like us to stop by for dessert or breakfast,” she said looking at him “but it’s our first Christmas married to each other” She said softly
Owen smirked as she hit one of his balls into the pocket. He listened to what she was saying as he went ahead and hit another ball in, pausing his actions after she finished talking. “Alli,” Owen started and chuckled, “It’s our first Christmas together, period. Not just married. But we can go to your parents’ house for breakfast. That way when we come home we don’t have to worry about going anywhere.. we can just.. stay home and.. have lots and lots of mind blowing sex,” he smirked, his tone becoming seductive near the end of his proposition. He licked his lips and aimed at another solid, sighing in frustration as it just barely missed the pocket.
Alli laughed at him “We don’t have to go if you don’t wanna though. My parents know its probably is going to be hard for you this year” She whispered softly as she hit one of her balls, not getting it in. She leaned on the pool table watching him. “And i would say we could go to friend houses, but Adam live like an hour and a half away, Clare is in London still, Fitz is wherever he is” She said shaking her head with a sigh.
